Her Story

The Beginnings

She Moves Mountains began with Rochelle Lang hosting intimate gatherings in her home around the table. It all started when a dear friend introduced her to international college students from around the world, who were studying at the local college. Hungry to learn about Jesus, these students joined her weekly, growing in faith and learning to hear God's voice in a personal way. Five years later, they returned to their home countries, equipped to serve their respective ministries with a deeper sense of knowing God’s heart and calling.

Fast forward another decade, and countless women have sat at the table, deepening their faith and developing an ear to hear God’s voice for their lives and purpose. Today, She Moves Mountains has expanded to host large gatherings of up to 60 women, while still honoring the intimate spirit of those early days—always remembering that there is a place for you at the table.

This ministry and its curriculum are best experienced in a small group setting, where shared meals, heartfelt conversations, and authentic relationships take root. Whether meeting in a small group or attending a retreat, the small group component remains a vital part of the experience, creating a space where women can connect, grow, and encourage one another throughout the season.
