Each one of us has a story waiting to be told—a story of hope.
So many of us take the beautiful, painful, and powerful stories of our lives and tuck them away, hidden in boxes that we promise ourselves we’ll never open again.
As a little girl, I decided my stories were too big, too overwhelming, and I stored them away, thinking I could just start over. But what I didn’t realize was that even though I tried to lock away the pain, the consequences of those untold stories stayed with me. I only focused on the bad, ignoring the beauty that also lay hidden within.
When I finally opened the box, I found not only pain but also music, love, and moments of care—things I would have missed if I hadn’t been willing to look back. We must take our pain to the cross, where it is redeemed. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are restored to our original design.
Our testimony then becomes an overcoming force, helping others walk out of their own pain, trauma, and shame, into the promise, hope, and deliverance found at the cross and in the resurrection of Jesus. His resurrection becomes our own, giving us the power to live fully, unburdened by the past.
As it says in 1 Peter 3:15 (ESV), “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.”

Ever felt like life's a non-stop Ferris wheel? 🎡 Ups of joy and downs of fear, spinning amidst beauty and chaos, and somehow ending up right where we started. If that resonates with you, you're not alone.
At 22, I decided enough was enough. I was done being trapped in a past filled with family dysfunction and lack of love. Despite knowing the Bible and playing the role of the “good girl” in church, there was this dark cloud that seemed to follow me. I couldn't lift it off my shoulders. 🍂 I tried to share my struggles, only to realize so many others were fighting the same silent battles, and searching for a guide out of the darkness also.
Then, one life-changing night, I found myself on my apartment floor, crying out to God. I challenged Him, if you are the God of my religious family I don’t want anything to do with you but if you are the God that is truly loving, heals, and offers freedom like the Bible says I am ready to surrender my life to you. In my moment of deepest despair, He showed up in a big way.
✨Fast forward, fresh out of Bible college and working as a counselor, I stumbled upon the teachings of John and Paula Sandford and Neil T. Anderson's "Bondage Breaker." It wasn't coincidence; it was divine timing. These revelations became my turning point, sparking a journey of healing within a community, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
So here I am, sharing my heart with you. Maybe you're also on that Ferris wheel, looking for a way off. Let's find the courage together to step off and start living in the power of the Holy Spirit.
